NAHU’s Compliance Corner webinar recordings are available for state-based filing of continuing education (CE) credits. To obtain CE approval, the chapter is responsible for handling the filing, instructor approvals, and roster processing with the state’s department of insurance. Chapters are also responsible for providing the attendance forms and ensuring the class is held in accordance with the rules of the state. For this, we suggest using CE sign in sheets for classroom study as proof of participation. The room should be monitored and attendees should sign in and out for breaks etc. The sound should be set up for the room/AV and not through laptop speakers, but connected to the audio system as it would be for any internet presentation/demonstration. In lieu of Q&A, you may want to have a roundtable discussion of the course content. If a Q&A document is archived with the webinar, you may want to review some of the responses.
