The House just embarked on its six-week in-district work period, better known as the annual August Congressional Recess, with the Senate set to join them next week. This break from legislating allows lawmakers time to meet with constituents before returning after the Labor Day holiday for what is expected to be a busy September. They also discuss key points that NAHU members should make to their lawmakers and how you can uniquely help frame these issues from your personal perspectives to help bolster our arguments here in Washington, D.C.
