Erin Fisher has been in the healthcare insurance sales field since 1993. She has held management and sales positions with Fortune 50 health insurance companies including Oxford Health Plans, Emblem Health and United Healthcare. Past clients included General Motors, IBM, Marriott, United Nations, American Airlines, Delta Airlines and Federated Department Stores. After assisting an Internet start-up health insurance agency establish a Medicare department, she opened her own business specializing in Medicare planning for individuals and small groups.
She is a member of NAHU, the NAHU Connecticut State Board, and the NAHU Medicare Advisory Committee. She is on the new NAHU committee to establish content for a Medicare Certification. Erin is president of the New York City Chapter of Women in Insurance and Financial Services. She is also a Board member of Elder Resources, an organization helping seniors with daily activities, and past Board member of Fairfield Network of Executive Women. She is a co-chair for PowerPlay NYC Annual Fund Drive, a non-profit assisting inner city girls develop self-esteem through sports and summer educational programs with the goal of attending college. She is vice president of her condominium association, active in her church and volunteers at the homeless shelter.
