Ashley Wynkoop Kapostins is a national trainer for Cigna US Individual, working with all of its distribution channels to improve and enhance knowledge and sales of its individual health insurance products throughout the United States. A graduate of the University of Central Florida (where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management), she started in the insurance industry in 2007. Her career has focused on the individual and small group markets and she has worked in the retail side as well as with insurance carriers in both segments and is now with one of the nation’s largest health insurance carriers.
Ashley has been an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters since 2007, serving as president of the Central Florida chapter. She was a founding member and national chair of the New Agents Advisory Group (now the Vanguard Council). In 2010, Ashley was recognized with both NAHU’s and Florida AHU’s Emerging Leader Awards and in 2013 she was honored to receive NAHU’s Distinguished Service Award. She currently serves as chair of NAHU’s Professional Development Committee, focusing on strengthening professionals nationwide and bringing value to the association’s membership.
