Capitol Conference Speakers
We are excited to announce our confirmed keynote speakers at the 2019 Capitol Conference: Stuart Rothenberg and Charlie Cook.
Stu is senior editor of Inside Elections and a contributor to Roll Call. He is one of the nation's most popular political analysts and handicappers. Charlie is the editor and publisher of The Cook Political Report and a political analyst for the National Journal Group. The Wall Street Journal calls him "the Picasso of election analysis."
This powerhouse duo will discuss the political and legislative environment of 2019 in a balanced, non-partisan way.
The Leadership Forum is a day-long leadership program for incoming chapter presidents or other future chapter leaders on Sunday, February 24. Registration is required. There is a limit of two officers per chapter. Click here for more program information and registration.
Bowling Event Hosted by HUPAC and the Vanguard Council
Come join HUPAC and the Vanguard Council on Sunday, February 24, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. at Lucky Strike in downtown DC for an evening of bowling, drinks and appetizers! The 4th Annual Bowling Night requires a $50 contribution to HUPAC to attend, which will count toward your contribution level for the year. HUPAC Congressional Reception
Come mingle, eat and drink with members of Congress and fellow NAHU members at the Annual HUPAC Congressional Reception on Tuesday, February 26, at 5:00 PM. Enjoy the view from the top of the Hyatt Regency. We expect between 15 and 20 members of Congress to attend, representing NAHU members across the country.
Due to limited space, there is a chance that tickets for this event will not be available at the conference, so be sure to go online and pre-order tickets today. The standard ticket price is $150. If you are a member of the HUPAC Capitol Club ($1,000 & up), you can purchase your ticket for $75 by contacting Anthony Perez. The cost of your ticket will count toward your annual HUPAC contribution total and can help you achieve Capitol, Congressional or 365 Club status if you are not there already.
