Megan Mamarella Caputo is senior vice president of corporate programs and advocacy at NABIP. She leads membership recruitment for large agencies, companies and national producer groups and oversees all corporate partner accounts. She is the main contact for NABIP’s Principals Council and General Agency Principals Council. She is the staff liaison to NABIP Legislative Council’s employer and prescription drug working groups. Megan is in her second tenure at NABIP, having served as director of state affairs, where she was a regular speaker for NABIP chapter events and testified before the National Conference of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL).
She has worked for a large global public relations agency in New York City, focusing on healthcare accounts, and as a development director in non-profit fundraising. Megan graduated cum laude from the University of Toledo with a degree in political science and in communications.
She currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and twin toddlers. They can usually be found along the local restaurant and playground circuit of their Del Ray neighborhood
