Alexandra Bishop is the director of professional development at NABIP. She first joined NABIP in 2012 as the manager of electronic communications and transitioned into her current position in 2019. In her role, she is responsible for the development of the department’s communication plans, sponsor fulfillment, managing the Running Your Business webinar series, and coordinating subject-matter experts for Annual Convention. As part of her previous position, Alexandra continues to oversee the association’s website. Furthermore, she is the staff liaison to the Professional Development Committee and working advisory groups. Prior to joining NABIP, she worked at a commercial real estate firm. She received her B.A. in Media Studies at the Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at Georgetown University.
In her free time, Alex can be found knitting and spending time with her family.
