This week marks the official end of August recess for both the House and Senate as members of Congress returned to the nation’s capital. Democrats and Republicans left Washington at the beginning of August without a bipartisan agreement on the next legislative coronavirus response package. On this week’s episode of the Healthcare Happy Hour, John Greene and Chris Hartmann discuss the potential for a fourth coronavirus response package, as well as the possibility of a government shutdown at the end of the month.
Note: This episode was recorded on September 9. Since then, the new Republican proposal was introduced in the Senate but failed to pass.
