Ken is Vice President of the Earl Bacon Agency, a UBA partner firm, managing the employee benefits department. He has been with the Earl Bacon Agency for 17 years and specializes in providing employee benefit compliance advice to the business community. 

Ken currently serves as President for the Florida Association of Health Underwriters (FAHU). He is also a Member of the NAHU Legislative Council. In 2016 Ken was appointed to the Florida Health Insurance Advisory Board by Florida Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier. Previously Ken served as FAHU Legislative Chair from 2011-2014. 

In 2003 Ken was appointed by Florida Governor Jeb Bush to serve on the Governor’s Task Force on Access to Affordable Health Insurance. In 2011 he was appointed to the Florida Health Choices agent steering committee and served as Vice-Chair.

His career includes serving as the State of Florida Property Risk Manager; several years as a National Sales Trainer and Consultant; and sales manager for a national insurance agency.

In 2012 he was named Dan Yount Floridian of the Year by FAHU. He is a recipient of the 2013 David Saltzman Award for Excellence in Public Speaking and Journalism.
