Matt has spent all of his life in healthcare, HR, or around the military/government contracting. Having sold opioids as the opioid epidemic began to gain awareness, Matt has opted since to support conscientious clients in their search for optimizing what is delivered to their employees, and patients. Employee benefits has been a labor of love drawing almost daily inspiration from the direct humanity of what we do, caring employers, mixed in with some fantastic community building. He was educated at William & Mary (where he failed in pursuit to become a doctor… like many very stable geniuses), serves on the board at the Washington Area Total Rewards Association & Loudoun Chamber GovCon Initiative while also contributing to SHRM, HR Hackers, numerous veteran hiring/transition organizations, and yes, NAHU. This isn’t a job to Matt, it’s a mission that can make lives better if we get it right.
