Legislative Activity

NAHU has sent a letter to congressional leadership to reiterate our formal opposition to H.R. 3590, the Senate-passed health reform legislation, as well as the tortuous legislative processes and procedures with which Congress is seeking to employ to pass this bill. In addition, we are urging our members, their clients, family, friends and other interested parties to send similar letters of opposition to their congressional representatives. The NAHU Board of Trustees approved an update to NAHU's American Solution, our association's vision for affordable and responsible health reform during its March 6, 2010 meeting. Read the revised plan.

NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein and national Legislative Council Chairman Jesse Patton will host a free one-hour legislative town hall webinar to address current health care reform issues on Thursday, March 18 at 1:00 p.m. EST.
